Stockholm, October 7 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II, in Stockholm on Tuesday, visited SAAB, a Swedish company specialising in military equipment, according to a royal court statement.
The visit aims to explore opportunities for cooperation between the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and SAAB, a manufacturer of advanced military equipment and technologies.
His Majesty met with SAAB board members and was briefed on the company’s work and development since its establishment in 1937, in addition to its latest products and technologies, particularly radar systems and defence mechanisms.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh accompanied the King on the visit.
