Amman, Oct. 16 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD11.3 million on Thursday, with 4.9 million shares exchanged in 4,579 transactions.
The general stock price index rose 0.91 percent to close at 3,289 points. Among 105 traded companies, 44 saw their share prices increase, while 28 others went down.
By sector, the financial and industrial indices gained 1.07% and 0.70%, respectively, while the services benchmark rose by 0.33%.
