Amman, Oct. 19 (Petra) — The total trading value at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Sunday reached JD22.1 million, with 10 million shares traded through 5,173 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 3,318 points, up 0.87 percent.
The financial sector index rose by 1.39 percent, while the industrial and services sectors declined by 0.24 percent and 0.04 percent, respectively.
Out of 102 companies whose shares were traded today, 46 recorded gains, while 35 saw declines.
