
Amman, Oct. 19 (Petra) – Umniah launched its new corporate identity on Sunday as part of the Beyon Group, aiming to strengthen its integration within the regional conglomerate.
The unveiling took place at a ceremony chaired by Beyon Group Chairman Sheikh Abdullah Al Khalifa, who also announced new investments in Jordan amounting to approximately JD 300 million over the next five years.
Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat said the launch marks a significant milestone for Jordan’s telecommunications sector, reflecting its vitality and role in supporting digital transformation and promoting innovation.
Sheikh Abdullah Al Khalifa highlighted that the longstanding fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Jordan have been the foundation of Beyon’s 20-year investment in Umniah. He added that the new identity represents not just a visual change but a new chapter deepening their commitment to building Jordan’s promising digital future.
Umniah CEO Faisal Al Jalahma emphasized that the rebranding goes beyond a change in name or logo, reflecting the company’s vision for a more inclusive and innovative future. The company’s upcoming development efforts will focus on enhancing global connectivity, technological advancement, sustainable innovation, digital inclusion, and forging strategic partnerships to support economic and social growth.
