Al Bashir Hospital Tops National Integrity Index; Al Iman Hospital Comes Second

Amman, Oct. 20 (Petra) – Al Bashir Hospital won first place in the 2024/2025 National Integrity Index Award in the government and university hospitals category, while Al Iman Hospital in Ajloun Governorate ranked second.

The award recognizes both institutions’ efforts to promote transparency, integrity, and good governance in public health services.

Hospital directors told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the achievement reflects tangible progress in government health institutions, supported by the Ministry of Health, and highlights their commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency as a permanent approach.

Dr. Ali Al-Abdallat, Director of Al Bashir Hospital, said the award reflects the dedication of administrative, medical, nursing, and technical staff, emphasizing teamwork and institutional excellence in providing quality health services.

He added that the recognition encourages continued efforts to serve patients and enhance public confidence in government hospitals.

Dr. Mohammed Bani Nasr, Director of Al Iman Hospital, said the second-place ranking was based on 74 national integrity indicators covering transparency, accountability, and service quality.

He praised the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission and the Ministry of Health for supporting governance and health sector development.

He noted that the award reflects the hospital staff’s efforts to uphold transparency, accountability, and high-quality services.
