Amman, Oct. 21 (Petra) European stocks rose Tuesday, extending gains after a 1 percent increase in the previous session, as investors focused on corporate earnings and US-China trade tensions.
According to Bloomberg, the Stoxx Europe 600 index climbed 0.1 percent to 572.56 points. The European banking index advanced 0.5 percent, while the aerospace and defense sector rose 0.4 percent. In contrast, the healthcare and technology sectors each declined 0.2 percent.
