Aqaba, Oct. 21 (Petra) President of the University of Jordan- Aqaba, Saleh Al-Rawdiyah, met with Arab Bridge Maritime General Manager Adnan Al-Abadlah and Deputy GM, Rear Admiral Jamal Ibrahim, to discuss collaboration in promoting tourism and regional development.
Al-Rawdiyah emphasized that the university, as a national center of expertise, is ready to cooperate in academic and training initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of workers in the tourism and maritime transport sectors.
He said, “We are open to all forms of partnership with community institutions and seek, through our expertise, to support key sectors by offering specialized courses and training programs grounded in scientific and practical frameworks that serve everyone’s interests.”
Al-Abadlah praised UJ’s academic and community role in Aqaba and expressed the company’s desire for a genuine, sustainable partnership with the university, leveraging its scientific expertise and qualified personnel to develop institutional work and improve staff competencies, particularly in tourism and maritime transport.
