Amman, Oct. 22 (Petra) The Jordan Armed Forces on Wednesday evacuated the 13th batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip under the “Jordanian Medical Corridor” initiative, launched by the Kingdom to support Palestinian brothers and alleviate their humanitarian suffering.
The group included 12 patients and 38 companions. The children will receive treatment in Jordanian hospitals in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.
Since the initiative began in March, Jordan has received 799 individuals from Gaza, including 232 patients and 567 companions, who were transported by land and air on multiple trips for medical treatment.
The evacuations, carried out by Jordan to support Palestinian brothers in Gaza, were launched under royal directives in early March. The Armed Forces continue their humanitarian work by evacuating patients and providing medical and humanitarian assistance under all circumstances.
