Amman, Oct. 22 (Petra) The Arab Potash Company (APC) on Wednesday signed a long-term supply agreement with Belgium’s Tessenderlo Kerley International, one of the world’s largest producers of potassium sulfate fertilizer, in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.
The agreement was signed by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Maen Nsour; Tessenderlo Kerley International Executive Vice President, Geert Gyselinck; and Chief Operating Officer of APC Europe, Rashid Lubani, on the sidelines of the “Argus Fertilizer Europe Conference,” one of the leading industry events bringing together producers and consumers across Europe’s fertilizer sector.
APC–Europe, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, serves as the new commercial and logistics arm of the Arab Potash Company and represents one of the key pillars of the company’s expansion strategy in Europe. It plays a central role in advancing marketing and distribution operations by improving shipping and storage efficiency and expanding the customer base in target markets.
Under the agreement, the Arab Potash Company will supply between 100,000 and 120,000 tons of potash annually to the group, with the contract automatically renewed each year. The arrangement reflects the strength of the strategic partnership and the confidence European partners place in the company’s product quality.
Sales of potash to Tessenderlo Kerley International have steadily increased over the past three years, reaching approximately 90,000 tons in 2024.
