Amman, Nov. 11 (Petra) — The total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday reached JD13.3 million, with 6.5 million shares traded through 4,507 transactions.
The general price index rose slightly to 3,424 points, marking an increase of 0.05 percent, against the previous session.
The services sector index climbed by 0.21 percent, while the financial sector edged up by 0.04 percent. In contrast, the industrial sector benchmark dropped by 0.24 percent.
Out of 107 companies whose shares were traded, 36 recorded gains in their share prices, while 33 others went down.
