Dushanbe, Nov. 11 (Petra) — Jordan’s Ambassador Hamza Omari on Tuesday presented his credentials to President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan as the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Jordan, during a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Dushanbe.
Omari conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II to President Rahmon, along with His Majesty’s wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Tajikistan.
President Rahmon, in turn, asked that his greetings and appreciation be conveyed to His Majesty the King, commending His Majesty’s wise leadership and the strong ties between the two countries. He also voiced his country’s keenness to bolster relations and cooperation, wishing Jordan and its people further progress and prosperity.
