Amman, Nov. 25 (Petra) – Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service.
The prime minister, who also serves as chairman of the award’s board of trustees, reviewed the report of the evaluation and judging committee for the current term, including its methodology, implementation stages and the selection process for nominees.
During the meeting, held at the Prime Ministry, the board approved the names of the winners of the award’s third cycle, who will be honored at a special ceremony in recognition of their voluntary efforts across various fields.
The award’s current cycle focused on three core principles: recognition, motivation and fostering individual and institutional competition, with the aim of promoting volunteer work and highlighting outstanding volunteer initiatives.
The award comprises four categories: Best Volunteer Work – Individual, Best Volunteer Work – Team, Best Volunteer Project (Corporate Social Responsibility) – Corporations, and Best Volunteer Project – Nonprofit Organizations.
