Amman, Nov. 27 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded total market turnover of JD9.7 million on Thursday, with 3.2 million shares changing hands through 2,688 executed contracts.
The ASE benchmark index closed lower at 3,422 points, retreating 0.09 percent.
Out of 97 listed companies that traded during the session, 32 equities advanced and 32 declined compared with their previous closing prices.
Sectoral performance was uniformly negative, with the industrial index down 0.13 percent, the financial index lower by 0.12 percent, and the services index easing 0.10 percent.
