Amman, Nov. 27 (Petra) – Minister of Investment Tariq Abu Ghazaleh received Canadian Ambassador to Jordan Louis-Martin Aumais and his delegation on Thursday to discuss enhancing economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Abu Ghazaleh highlighted the strong Jordan-Canada relationship and stressed the importance of expanding investment ties, particularly in priority sectors such as technology and pharmaceuticals. He outlined the ministry’s efforts to improve the investment environment through supportive legislation, streamlined procedures, and promotion of the Kingdom’s competitive advantages, in line with the economic modernization vision.
The Canadian Ambassador praised Jordan’s initiatives to develop the investment climate and reaffirmed Canada’s commitment to strengthening partnerships in investment that benefit both nations.
