Aqaba, Dec. 2 (Petra) – The Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) announced key operational indicators for November 2025, underscoring its role as a pivotal logistics hub supporting national and regional supply chains.
In a statement, the company said it achieved positive performance metrics during the month, handling a total of 83,898 TEUs, including 40,082 imported containers and 10,395 exported containers. The terminal serviced 48 vessels and processed 54,042 truck moves, while transit cargo reached 5,413 TEUs.
The ACT stated that the reported figures reaffirm the terminal’s continued importance as a strategic logistics center serving Jordan and the Levant, enabling seamless cargo movement and efficiently linking global trade routes with regional markets through advanced port operations.
The company recorded a year-on-year increase of 22.2 percent in total container throughput, reflecting seasonal trade flows and developments in the global shipping landscape.
ACT added that it remains committed to operational excellence, customer service, and the provision of reliable logistics solutions, while continuing long-term investments in infrastructure, digital transformation, and sustainability practices.
As part of its forward-looking strategy, the terminal is enhancing its capacity to meet rising regional trade demand and maintain its position as an efficient, environmentally responsible logistics gateway.
