Amman, Dec.23 (Petra) – Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan on Tuesday visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi.
During the meeting where Safadi briefed the Prime Minister on regional developments, the PM underlined the importance of the ministry’s development programs aimed at improving consular services for Jordanian expatriates and enhancing economic role of Jordanian diplomatic missions.
The PM also stressed the importance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ continued coordination with economic ministries to increase “effectiveness” of the economic role of diplomatic missions, mainly in promoting investment, tourism, and exports.
The PM affirmed his support for efforts to automate and develop consular services to deliver them “effectively” to Jordanian expatriates.
