Gaza, Jan. 3 (Petra) – A Palestinian girl was killed Saturday evening by Israeli army fire near the Al Mawasi area of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported that 17 people were injured after Israeli military vehicles opened fire on tents sheltering displaced persons in Al Mawasi, Rafah. The injured were transported to hospitals for treatment.
In a separate incident, another Palestinian girl was killed earlier Saturday by Israeli army fire in Beit Lahia, in the northwestern Gaza Strip.
