Amman, Jan. 12 (Petra) — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti received on Monday the Commander of U.S. Central Command Naval Forces, Vice Adm. Curt Renshaw, and an accompanying delegation at the General Command headquarters.
The meeting reviewed avenues of military cooperation in operational, training, and logistical fields, aimed at enhancing military capabilities and serving the interests of the armed forces of the two friendly countries.
The two sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation on issues of common concern, particularly to boost regional security and stability and address current security challenges.
They reaffirmed the strength of the strategic partnership between the two armed forces and their shared commitment to further developing it in line with regional and international developments, enhancing readiness and efficiency.
