Amman, Jan 19 (Petra) – The Jordan Industrial Estates Company (JIEC) and the Palestinian Business Forum – Nablus on Monday discussed investment opportunities available in Jordanian industrial cities and the services they offer.
During the meeting with the Forum’s head, Jihad Al-Banna, and an accompanying delegation of Palestinian investors, JIFC Acting Director Uday Obeidat highlighted the importance of Jordanian-Palestinian relations and the need to enhance economic cooperation, exchanging expertise, and exploring joint investment opportunities.
Obeidat said the company provides an attractive and stimulating investment environment in industrial estates across the Kingdom. These offer integrated infrastructure, high-quality services, and competitive incentives for investors to start industrial businesses efficiently and sustainably.
Industrial cities, he said, are key drivers of growth, offering diverse investment opportunities across various industrial sectors, along with government support, streamlined procedures, and alignment with the economic modernization vision aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the industrial sector, increasing its contribution to GDP, and generating employment opportunities.
Al-Banna hailed the advancement made by Jordanian industrial cities, noting a safe and stable investment environment they provide and their readiness to attract capital. He urged Palestinian businesspeople to take advantage of the opportunities.
