Amman, Jan. 22 (Petra)– The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Daifallah Al-Farajat, met with the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Jordanian Airlines, Samer Al-Majali, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in support of the national carrier.
The meeting, held at the commission’s headquarters, came within the framework of strengthening public–private sector partnership efforts aimed at advancing Jordan’s aviation sector.
The discussions covered a range of strategic and operational files focused on enhancing the standing of Jordanian civil aviation and underscored the importance of a collaborative approach and ongoing consultations between the commission as the sector’s regulator and Royal Jordanian as the national operator in line with the Kingdom’s Economic Modernization Vision.
Al-Farajat reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to providing all forms of technical and regulatory support to Royal Jordanian, stressing that the success of the national carrier is a cornerstone for the overall success of air transport in Jordan.
For his part, Al-Majali expressed appreciation for the vital role played by the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission in maintaining the highest levels of safety and security, noting that this close cooperation directly contributes to enabling the airline to achieve its objectives and deliver distinguished services that reflect Jordan’s reputation.
Royal Jordanian continues to work diligently to enhance the Kingdom’s connectivity with the world and support the national economy through an ambitious strategy aimed at positioning Jordan as a dynamic regional aviation hub.
