Amman, Jan. 25 (Petra) — Trading on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Sunday totaled JD 8.8 million, with 3.5 million shares exchanged through 3,928 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,544 points, down 1.35 percent.
The financial sector index fell 1.57 percent, services declined 1.29 percent, and industry slipped 0.41 percent.
Of the 107 listed companies traded, share prices rose for 14 firms, while 65 companies recorded declines.
