Amman, Jan. 28 (Petra) –Deputizing for Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), Princess Rajaa bint Talal met with volunteers from Siwar Al Hussein Volunteering Program during the annual forum held at the Amman Academy Theater.
In a joint statement, the forum honored a select group of program volunteers and volunteer cancer survivors, in recognition of their role in supporting the mission of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center and in strengthening the culture of volunteerism.
In 2025, volunteers in the program delivered more than 60,000 volunteer hours and helped support over 120,000 cancer patients.
Their work focused on volunteering in playrooms and the children’s summer camp, as well as guiding visitors and patients, assisting patients in laboratories and the blood bank, participating in blood-donation campaigns, and contributing to the organization of around 750 events and conferences.
Representatives of the Housing Bank, the official sponsor of the Siwar Al Hussein Volunteering Program, attended the forum, alongside a large number of volunteers and stakeholders from national and official institutions.
