Amman, Feb. 2 (Petra) – Minister of Public Works and Housing Maher Abu Al-Saman on Monday met with a delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development, headed by Abdullah Sahil, to discuss enhancing cooperation, particularly regarding Saudi grants supporting development and service projects in Jordan.
The meeting, attended by Acting Secretary-General for Technical Affairs Wasim Adwan and members of the Saudi delegation, reviewed the progress of projects funded by the Saudi Fund for Development and mechanisms to improve implementation efficiency.
Minister Abu Al-Saman praised the deep relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia and highlighted the Fund’s key role in supporting Jordan’s development through financing strategic infrastructure projects and improving public services.
The Saudi delegation reaffirmed the Fund’s commitment to continued cooperation and coordination with Jordanian authorities in line with national development priorities, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s support for Jordan’s development within the framework of the strong historical ties between the two countries.
