New York, Feb 2 (Petra) – Major U.S. stock indexes rose on Monday, while the price of U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil fell by more than $3 to $62.10 per barrel.
Ahead of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed more than 550 points, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq index rose by nearly 170 points.
The Standard & Poor’s (S&P 500) index gained approximately 50 points.
