Amman, Feb 2 (Petra) – The Royal Jordanian Navy thwarted three attempts to smuggle weapons, ammunition, and some guided systems within their area of responsibility on Monday. The incidents were detected and controlled after the application of rules of engagement by the combat boat units and the Coast Guard, in coordination with the Naval Operations Center.
The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities for necessary action.
