Amman, Feb. 4 (Petra) — Trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday totaled JD17 million, as 5.2 million shares were exchanged through 4,551 transactions.
The general price index closed at 3,617 points, up 0.17%, compared with the previous session.
The industrial sector index rose 1.66%, while the financial and services sectors edged down 0.18% and 0.06%, respectively.
Of the 104 companies traded, share prices of 42 companies increased, while 34 companies recorded declines, against their previous performance.
