Amman, Feb. 5 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD14 million on Thursday, with 5.8 million shares traded through 4,519 transactions.
The ASE general share price index closed at 3,619 points, marking a 0.05% increase.
Sector-wise, the services index rose by 0.31%, while the industrial index increased by 0.29%. The financial sector index declined by 0.15%.
A total of 110 companies were traded during the session. Share prices rose for 23 companies, while 43 companies recorded declines compared with their previous closing prices.
