Amman, Feb. 6 (Petra)– Despite the siege of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Israeli occupation forces’ policy of arresting and expelling Palestinians in the city, tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayer at the mosque.
According to Palestinian media, the occupation troops established a siege around Jerusalem, erecting metal and military barriers around the Old City and the Al-Aqsa Mosque site, and heavily deploying throughout the city’s streets and neighborhoods.
Numerous worshipers, especially young men, were arrested by the occupation troops, who also examined their identity cards and stopped others from traveling to Al-Aqsa to perform Friday prayer.
