Amman, Feb 9 (Petra) – Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud on Monday presented his credentials as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s non-resident ambassador to the State of Palestine.
During the credential ceremony at the Palestine State Guesthouse, Prince Mansour conveyed to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
For his part, President Abbas asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, expressing his deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s leading role in supporting and serving Arab and Islamic causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
Abbas wished the ambassador success in his duties in a way that contributes to strengthening the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
The ceremony was attended by the Palestinian ambassador to Jordan, Attallah Khairy.
