Amman, Feb. 17 — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general share price index rose 0.28% on Tuesday to 3,634 points as total turnover reached JD10.4 million, with 3.9 million shares traded through 3,350 transactions.
The services sector led gains, with its index up 1.86%, while the industrial sector fell 0.26% and the financial sector declined 0.24%.
Of the 106 companies traded, 30 closed higher and 36 ended lower compared with their previous closes.
