Amman, Feb 22 (Petra) – Qatar’s Ambassador to Jordan Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani commended as “deep-rooted” the Jordan-Arab relations and praised the level of cooperation and coordination across various fields, reflecting the strength of brotherly ties among Arab peoples.
During an iftar banquet held at his residence in Amman on Sunday, the Qatari ambassador spoke about the significance of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was attended by ambassadors from Gulf, Arab, and Islamic countries accredited to Jordan. The ambassador highlighted that Jordanian-Qatari relations have reached their highest levels, emphasizing their strength and distinction across various areas.
He affirmed that Jordanian-Qatari relations are deeply rooted in fraternity, based on mutual respect and continuous coordination, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who are keen to develop, strengthen and build upon these relations across various fields in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and the just causes of the Arab nation.
At the end of the invitation, the ambassadors expressed their thanks and appreciation to Al Thani for the generous invitation, wishing the State of Qatar, its government and people, continued progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The banquet was attended by the Director of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Ambassador Amjad Al-Qhaiwi.
