Riyadh, April 07 (QNA) – Saudi Arabia strongly has condemned the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by an Israeli minister under security protection, reaffirming its categorical rejection of ongoing Israeli violations of international law and the sanctity of Islamic holy sites, as well as the provocation of Muslim sentiments worldwide.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of the international community assuming its responsibilities to halt all Israeli violations against the Palestinian people and holy and historical sites in occupied Palestine, ensure respect for the legal and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and hold the occupation authorities accountable for these repeated violations.
