QPC to Hold Portrait Photography on Thursday

Doha, July 29 (QNA) – The Qatar Photography Center (QPC), affiliated with the Ministry of Culture (MoC), is holding a workshop on Thursday focused on portrait photography, within its ongoing efforts to develop photographers’ skills, attract global talents, and organize professional training programs that feature the latest trends.

The workshop, presented by international photographer Cesar Parroco, aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of portrait photography, one of the most in-demand genres in the field. It is set to mix both practical and theoretical approaches.

Director of the QPC, Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain, stated that the workshop sheds light on one of the most important fields of commercial photography. The participants will be introduced to the basics of professional portrait photography, such as developing a concept, professional lighting, and managing photoshoots.

Al Buainain explained that the workshop will include practical practices by using professional studios and cooperating with makeup artists to better understand all aspects of portrait photography.

The Director of the Center called on enthusiasts and professionals to participate in the workshop to gain experience with the most renowned international talents, aligning with QPC’s vision in spreading photography, enriching creativity, and developing national capabilities. (QNA)
