KHARTOUM, July 29, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nowara Abu Mohamed Tahir reviewed the performance of Sudan Shipping Lines and the challenges facing its operations during a meeting on Wednesday with the company’s Director General, Omar Khalifa Ali. Dr. Nowara commended the significant progress made by the company, particularly following the launch of its first vessel, and reaffirmed the state’s support for the national shipping line. In a press statement, the Director General said the company’s workforce is committed to strengthening Sudan Shipping Lines’ role in supporting the country’s trade and national economy in the coming period.BH/BH
