Berlin, August 10 (QNA) – English striker Harry Kane has won the European Golden Shoe as Europe’s top scorer for the 2025-26 season, Bayern Munich said in a statement on Monday.
The German club added that the European top-scorer title returns to Bayern Munich thanks to Harry Kane, who will receive the Golden Shoe as Europe’s top scorer for the second time in his career, after winning it in 2024.
Kane now joins the list of players who have won the Golden Shoe twice, with only Argentina’s Lionel Messi, who has won it six times, and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won it four times, ahead of him in this achievement.
Kane scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga, the same tally that earned him the award two years ago.
The English striker’s goals helped Bayern Munich win several titles last season, including the Bundesliga, the German Cup and the German Super Cup.
Kane is scheduled to receive the award during a ceremony at the Bayern Munich Museum at the Allianz Arena on Aug. 19. (QNA)
