Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) – Jordan Exports Company announced Tuesday that 12 Jordanian companies will participate for the first time in the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair, to be held in Algeria from September 4th to 10th.
The company said the event offers a valuable opportunity for Jordanian products to access non-traditional markets, explore partnership and cooperation prospects with African counterparts, and support economic growth by diversifying national exports.
The Jordanian delegation will include companies from the food, chemical, construction materials, cosmetics, and plastics sectors, in addition to telecommunications and education services. They will showcase their products and services to African and international investors and businesses.
Jordan’s participation in the fair, its first, comes as part of efforts to boost intra-African trade, enhance Arab-African cooperation, and promote economic integration.
The event is organized in cooperation with the African Export-Import Bank, the African Union Commission, and Algeria, aiming to strengthen economic connectivity, open new horizons for businesses and investors, and highlight the continent’s economic potential.
