This milestone emerged according to the updated citation index database prepared by Stanford University, in collaboration with the international publishing house Elsevier for the year 2025.

The BAU list features Drs. Omar Abu Arqoub, Zaid Odeibat, Malik Breik, Jaafar Zoubi, Zakaria Qudah, Ahmad Ajou, Omar Zoubi, Moataz Azab, Hisham Shehadeh, Al-Baraa Awajan, Omar Othman Badran, Muhammad Samadi, Abdul Aziz Hamouri, Ammar Momani, Khalil Assaf, Mazen Abu Khader, and Sharida Khalaf Omari.

In press remarks, BAU President Dr. Ahmed Fakhri Ajlouni greeted the “distinguished” researchers on this global achievement, which reflects “excellence” of the university’s faculty members and its “strong commitment” to scientific research as one of its key strategic goals.

Ajlouni noted the role of scientific research in achieving “sustainable” development goals and enhancing the university’s position locally and globally, calling on all researchers to redouble their efforts to contribute to the BAU’s excellence at the regional and global levels.

On its excellence-driven policy, Ajlouni said the BAU is continuing its plans to support researchers and secure an “appropriate” academic environment by providing financial and moral support and expanding cooperation programs with international universities and research centers.

This effort, he stated, would contribute to increasing “qualitative” scientific production and enhancing the university’s ranking and academic reputation globally.
