
Amman, May 11 (Petra) – Director-General of the Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) Mohammad Dogan held discussions on Sunday with delegations from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) in Jeddah, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), to explore collaborative efforts aimed at boosting agricultural development in Jordan.
The talks focused on creating innovative financing solutions to improve agricultural infrastructure and generate new job opportunities, particularly in rural areas.
The meeting also addressed avenues for joint cooperation between the ACC and the international financing institutions to develop financial products that can enhance agricultural productivity and drive rural development. The discussion included a review of upcoming projects targeting sustainable growth within the agricultural sector.
Dogan emphasized the importance of aligning efforts between domestic and international financial entities to achieve sustainable agricultural development, especially during a critical period for launching developmental initiatives that support Jordan’s national economy and uplift living standards in rural communities.
The parties agreed to establish joint working teams tasked with exploring suitable financing mechanisms and expediting the implementation of agricultural development projects.
