Agreement
Reached Between Israel, Hamas

Washington,
9 Oct (ONA) — Mediators have announced an agreement between Israel and Hamas on
the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan.

This
phase will involve the immediate release of 20 living Israeli prisoners in
exchange for Israel releasing approximately two thousand Palestinian prisoners.
Among them are 250 serving life sentences and 1,700 who were detained since the
war began two years ago. The exchange process is to take place within 72 hours
of the agreement’s implementation.

The
agreement also stipulates the entry of a minimum of 400 aid trucks daily into
the Gaza Strip “during the first five days after the ceasefire,” with
this number to be increased in the following days.

Furthermore,
the agreement stipulates the return of displaced persons from the south of the
Strip to Gaza City (the center) and the north of the Strip immediately upon the
start of its implementation.

Regarding
the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Strip, the American network
“ABC,” citing a White House official, clarified that the withdrawal
towards the dividing line in Gaza will take less than 24 hours from Tel Aviv’s
approval of the agreement.
