Mafraq, May 14 (Petra) – President of Al al-Bayt University, Osama Nusier, met with Belgian Ambassador to Jordan, Serge Dickschen, on Wednesday to discuss opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration between Al al-Bayt University and Belgian institutions.

During the meeting, Nusier highlighted the university’s academic programs and research initiatives. He expressed a strong desire to expand student exchange and academic cooperation with Belgian universities.

Ambassador Dickschen emphasized the vital role universities play in fostering cultural awareness and global understanding. He also presented an overview of Belgium’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

The ambassador praised the strong political relations between Jordan and Belgium, noting they continue to grow and strengthen across various fields. He expressed interest in advancing academic exchange and collaboration between the two nations.

Following the meeting, the ambassador held a dialogue session with students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, engaging them in discussion on international culture and education.

The meeting was attended by Vice President for Community Affairs Hani Akho Irsheida and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Mohammad Al-Khatib.
