Amman, Jan. 5 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Monday recorded a turnover of JD7.2 million, with 4.1 million shares changing hands through 3,447 transactions.
It closed at 3,567 points, posting a decline of 0.85%.
Losses were recorded across all sectors, with the financial sector index down 1.10%, industry falling 0.44%, and services declining 0.40%.
Of the 97 companies on the index, 21 posted gains in closing prices, 46 dropped, compared with previous closes.
