Amman, August 4 (Petra) – Northern Military Zone troops on Monday foiled an attempt to smuggle in narcotics using a drone in its area of responsibility, a source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army said.
It said Border Guard forces of the Northern Military Zone monitored the drone, applied the rules of engagement and brought down its load inside Jordanian territory. The items seized were referred to the competent authorities.
The source reiterated the Armed Forces will use full force to block narcotics from reaching people and undermine national security.
