NNA – The head of Burma#39;s military junta announced on Tuesday that the earthquake death toll had exceeded 2,700 and more than 4,500 injured, according to Agence France-Presse.
Min Aung Hlaing said 2,719 people have been confirmed dead, with 441 others still missing, as a result of the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck the country on Friday.
