
Amman, Aug 10 (Petra) – The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced the opening of applications for 24 undergraduate scholarships in 2025 for economics, cybersecurity, accounting, and finance fields, aimed at employment purposes.
According to the bank’s statement, two scholarships will be awarded per governorate across the kingdom for outstanding students in the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi), starting from the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
Applicants must be Jordanian Tawjihi graduates (scientific stream) with a minimum grade of 95 percent or its equivalent from foreign secondary certificates obtained within Jordan this year. They must have completed their last two academic years at a school within the same governorate.
Candidates must not have any criminal record related to felonies or misdemeanors involving dishonesty, moral turpitude, or public decency, including issuing bounced checks or similar offenses. They must be no older than 19 years as of the announcement date, August 10, 2025, and not currently holding or receiving any scholarship from any other entity.
Applicants are also required to provide an unconditional acceptance letter from the educational institution they will attend, confirming enrollment in a regular (non-parallel) program.
The bank urged eligible students to complete the online application form available on the Central Bank’s website [www.cbj.gov.jo] starting Sunday until 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
