Civil defense teams respond to over 1,700 incidents in 24 hours

Amman, May 11 (Petra) – Civil Defense Directorate teams handled a total of 1,701 incidents over the past 24 hours, including 1,462 medical emergencies, 118 rescue operations, and 121 fire-related incidents.

The directorate reported an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds for medical cases, 7 minutes and 33 seconds for rescue missions, and 7 minutes and 34 seconds for firefighting incidents.

These efforts are part of the Public Security Directorate’s ongoing “Safe Summer” campaign, which aims to enhance public safety and ensure swift, effective responses to various emergencies.
