Aqaba, January 4 (Petra) — His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met with youth from Aqaba Governorate on Sunday, according to a royal court statement.
The meeting, held at Ayla Oasis in Aqaba, covered a range of issues of concern to young people, which are being closely followed by the Crown Prince.
His Royal Highness noted that recent events around the world have affected tourism in Aqaba, expressing hope that this year will see an improvement in tourist numbers.
The Crown Prince said the world is witnessing rapid technological developments, with electronic services becoming a key requirement for any country.
His Royal Highness stressed the importance of the government’s efforts to reduce littering, which will have a positive impact on public and tourist sites, noting that citizens should be able to notice the change by the end of this year.
For their part, the young people at the meeting expressed their appreciation of the Crown Prince’s continued support and his efforts to empower them and enhance their participation in various fields.
