Occupied Jerusalem, Feb 4 (Petra) — Dozens of extremist Israeli settlers Tuesday stormed Al Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem and performed prayers under police protection, the Islamic Waqf (endowments) Department, the custodian of the complex said.
The hardliners broke into the compound from Al Magharebah Gate in groups, toured the plaza and performed prayers in the latest breach of the holy site and provocation against guards and worshipers, it said.
