Amman, Aug. 14 (Petra) — The Eastern Military Zone Thursday foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics carried by balloons guided with rudimentary devices.
Border Guard forces tracked the balloons inside Jordanian territory, and, working with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, brought them down with the illicit goods, referring the seized items to the competent authorities.
