Education directorates of Irbid, Karak launch activities of QRAEE

Irbid & Karak, Sept 3 (Petra) – The Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education (QRAEE) activities were launched on Wednesday at the Qa?abah Irbid Directorate of Education, with the participation of school principals from the district.

Director of the Qa?abah Irbid Directorate of Education Raed Khasawneh highlighted the importance of participating in the award and encouraging educational staff to apply, noting that the directorate had won the “Supporting Directorate” title for two consecutive years in recognition of its efforts to support outstanding educators.

Firas Miqdadi, Head of the Directorate’s Educational Supervision Division, presented the award’s objectives and its impact on enhancing the educational process. Educational supervisor Nora Al-Zoubi outlined application procedures and deadlines via the website (qra.jo), covering categories including Outstanding Teacher, Outstanding Principal, and Kindergarten Institution Award.

She also showcased key excellence programs within the QRAEE.

In Karak, the Educational Supervision Division at the Qa?abah al-Karak Directorate of Education held an orientation session on the QRAEE for the 2025-2026 academic year targeting school principals.

Director of Educational Affairs Mohammad Saraireh emphasized the award’s role in advancing education and fostering excellence, while Fayez Al-Amro, Head of the Division, highlighted its national and regional significance and its contribution to cultivating creativity and innovation among teachers.

Dhelal Rawashdeh, the award coordinator at the Directorate, presented the award’s principles, criteria, objectives, and application process, emphasizing its role in developing educational and administrative performance.
