Faraya arrives in Tunisia to participate in Arab Interior Ministers Council meetings

Tunis, Feb 15 (Petra) – Interior Minister Mazen Faraya arrived in Tunis on Saturday to participate in the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, set to convene Sunday.

Upon his arrival at Carthage International Airport, he was received by Tunisian Interior Minister Khaled Nouri, Jordanian Ambassador to Tunisia Abdullah Abu Rumman, and Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Mohammed bin Ali Koman.

Faraya’s participation underscores Jordan’s commitment to strengthening Arab cooperation in security affairs, crime prevention, and exchanging expertise on common security challenges facing Arab nations.

On the sidelines of the session, Faraya is scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings with his Arab counterparts and representatives of international organizations attending the event.
